In to the Woods Blog 2

“Wishes may bring Problems such that you regret them.  Better that, though, than to never get them”
Oh how this is so true.  Sometimes in life we wish for things that do come true and then we are really kicking ourselves in the ass for doing so.  As you see with witch and her daughter Rapunzel.  The witch wished and wanted so badly for her daughter to stay in the castle and to live there and never venture off.  The witched tried so hard to keep her enclosed and cut off from everyone that once Rapunzel figured out that it was a completely different world she choose to go explore it.  Once Rapunzel t left the castle there was no coming back no matter how hard the witch tried.  In the end Rapunzel wound up dying.  Also Jack and the chicken with the golden eggs, he wanted it so bad and climbed the bean stock to get it.  Once he came back down he cut the bean stock and killed the giants son which lead the giant to come and cause havoc of the others also resulting in death of some of the characters.

In my life I have seen this manifested in so many ways.  There was a time in my life when my husband was a raging alcoholic and I would pray that god would just send him to jail because I could not deal with it anymore.  Poof…next thing I know he has gotten in trouble and taken to jail.  Little did I know how hard it was to care for three kids and go to work.  But yet I had wanted something to change and I thought I had the answer.  That was probably one of the toughest times in my life.  Be careful what you wish for because wishes do come true.  It’s not just in fairy tales
